HEAD OF SOCIAL, 6TH BOROUGH HOSPITALITY

A hospitality group consisting of Hoboken's two top players, O'Bagel and Loquito (sold in 2020). O'Bagel is a family-owned and operated business founded in 1995. In 2016, Stephen El-Hassan took after his father and opened up on the corner of 600 Washington Street in Hoboken, NJ. O'Bagel has now become the #1 Bagel Shop in New Jersey and Hudson County for the last 5 years. Loquito was the El-Hassan’s take on Lebanese Mexican Taqueria that was featured on publications such as Eater and more. I have worked with Stephen and the El-Hassan family in:

  • Developing creative assets for social media platforms, website content, marketing collateral, and more ranging from video to photo to memes and more that have collected millions of impressions YOY

  • Working closely with Stephen on developing the proper brand identity, positioning, and voice for O’Bagel on social media as we evolve year to year with new offerings since 2017.

  • Building and executing a distribution and community-first approach to our omni-channel organic social approach allowing for brand awareness, high sentiment, social growth, and conversion. Our main platforms are Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook.

  • Collaborate with our Tiktok Manager in community development through responding to comments and relaying ideas to maximize growth and to truly turn our account into the #1 stop for all bagel content on the platform. I wrote a whole thread on my twitter about how our Tiktok went from 1K to 15K followers in less than 3 days here.

  • Lead the PR + Influencer arm in activating giveaways, handling outreach for local influencers, and handling any inbound leads that may come in from brands and other creators and maintain these relationships with various publications, influencers, and other which have resulted in over 100M+ views collectively across platforms such as Thrillist, Munchies, Food Network, Delish, Worldstar, 9Gag and more

  • Helpedthe social launch and strategy for our first at-home product during COVID, the O’Bagel Bagel Kit, resulting in a 1,884% increase in online sales

  • Helped with the social launch of our first DTC Product, O’Bagel Mix, which is available here and officially now on Walmart.com.
